Our Story: 26 Years in West Shreveport
This community is our heart. Having lived in and loved West Shreveport for 26 years, we took a giant leap of faith this past June and purchased our dream property: 6 beautiful, sprawling acres with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and enjoy the fresh air.
The property came with a wonderful bonus—a dedicated canine facility. We knew instantly that we wanted to use this space to create a safe, happy, and loving home-away-from-home for local dogs. Because we live right here on the property full-time, you can rest easy knowing your dog will have around-the-clock supervision and care.
Preparing & Growing with Care
We believe in doing things right, which is why we are starting intentionally small. For our grand opening this November, we are focusing exclusively on premium, small-scale dog boarding. By keeping our guest numbers small, we can ensure your dog receives highly personalized, one-on-one attention, playtime, and love.
Behind the scenes, we are dedicated to constant learning. We are currently researching classes and training so we can safely and responsibly expand our services in the future to include breeding, daycare, and grooming.
The Meaning Behind "Three Roots"
Our name represents the three generations that anchor our family:
Root 1 The foundation—ourselves as husband and wife, partners in life, and now partners in this dream.
Root 2 Our wonderful combined family of children.
Root 3 The future—our grandchild (with hopes for more to come!).
Family means everything to us. As lifelong dog lovers, we promise to treat every pet in our care like a member of our own pack.
